Paul Rapazzo Named Executive Director of The Herrick House

Beverly, Mass. – Paul Rapazzo has been named Executive Director of The Herrick House and will lead the North Shore senior living community in its commitment to providing the highest level of individualized care and services to its residents.

Rapazzo, who has 15 years of experience in the senior living industry, has served for over two years as Associate Executive Director of The Herrick House, which is marking its 30th anniversary this year. The residence, which offers assisted living, respite care and a specialized Spectrum Memory Care Program for individuals with cognitive impairment, is part of Beth Israel Lahey Health.

“We are thrilled to welcome Paul to the role of Executive Director of The Herrick House,” said Jennifer Gizmunt, president of Continuing Care for Beth Israel Lahey Health. “Paul has been an incredible advocate for The Herrick House, introducing initiatives to improve programming, overseeing business operations and building lasting relationships with residents, families and staff built on respect and caring. We look forward to staying true to our mission while continuing to evolve and provide the best possible care and lifestyle for all our residents under Paul’s leadership.”

Rapazzo joined The Herrick House in 2013 as its Director of Community Relations, responsible for developing new initiatives and implementing projects aimed at best serving individual residents and addressing the needs of the community. He was promoted to Associate Executive Director in 2021.

“It is an honor to assume the role of Executive Director of The Herrick House and to continue supporting the unique physical, emotional and social needs of each of our residents,” Rapazzo said. “I look forward to leading the team in furthering the vibrant environment for our residents, their families and our dedicated staff that has been a hallmark of The Herrick House for the past three decades.”

Rapazzo holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, quality management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

He replaces Nancy Moore, who is retiring as The Herrick House’s Executive Director after 13 years.

“We thank Nancy for her four decades of service to older adults in Massachusetts and especially for her last 13 years making Herrick House a special place for our residents and a premier assisted living community on the North Shore,” Gizmunt said.
