Is it time to leave the hospital or rehab but you’re not quite ready to return home safely? Does an obligation or circumstance require you to seek temporary care for your loved one? Perhaps you simply need a short break from caregiving.
You can try us out for 30 days. We realize it can be a difficult decision to leave one’s home. A one-month stay is a perfect way to experience all the services and amenities that The Herrick House has to offer while taking the uncertainty out of the equation.
Whether it is a two-week or a month-long stay, you'll receive 24/7 on-site licensed nursing and all the amenities that make The Herrick House such a special residence.
A respite stay is a convenient option when you or a family member needs the security of assisted living for a short period of time. During a respite stay at the Herrick House, our licensed nursing staff will develop an individualized care plan to meet the wellness and healthcare needs of the individual, who will also benefit from all the services and amenities that we have to offer.
Respite Services Provide Temporary Assisted Living
At The Herrick House, respite care is unique. Our compassionate team offers specialized care in a beautiful setting both inside and out.
Your loved one will have a fully furnished apartment with housekeeping, linen service and paid utilities. They’ll have access to all the benefits of assisted living, including personal care assistance, transportation, excellent dining services and classes & events. They’re able to enjoy the full benefits of The Herrick House lifestyle during their stay.
Health Care Services at The Herrick House
Resident care aides and licensed nurses are on-site 24 hours a day. As part of a respite stay, our nurses develop an individualized care plan that addresses your loved one’s health care and wellness needs. We provide a variety of health care services, including medication management and nursing. Memory care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive conditions is available, as well. Our affiliation with Beth Israel Lahey Health and our location on the campus of Beverly Hospital means additional medical expertise is close by if needed.
